Vox Rea Vox Rea, the Canadian indie-pop collective led by sisters Kate and Lauren Kurdyak, crafts cinematic, introspective soundscapes where poetry meets philosophy. Merging existential musings with lush synth textures, their music is both intellectually rich and emotionally raw. Their sound blends Laurel Canyon harmonies with the dreamlike allure of Lana Del Rey and the haunting intensity of Jeff Buckley. Since their debut single, Dose Me Up (2020), Vox Rea has amassed over 5M Spotify streams, landing on New Music Friday Canada and Indie Pop. Their songs have been featured on BBC Radio 6, CBC, and Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias and Orphan Black. Their sophomore album, Art Oracles, recorded in a Vancouver Island cabin, explores fate, freedom, and the art of letting go. Inspired by the staggering beauty of the West Coast, the album weaves natural imagery into a tapestry of existential longing. From the a cappella-driven Hard to the ethereal closer Captain, the sisters’ seamless vocal interplay creates choral harmonies that are both intimate and expansive. Renowned for their magnetic live shows, Vox Rea has toured North America, the UK, and Europe, gracing stages at Rifflandia, SXSW, and Reeperbahn. With Art Oracles, they summon their own vision—sing, O muses, of change and catharsis.

MANISHA

Seattle-based, Filipina-Indian artist MANISHA writes for lovers of lyrics and overthinkers of life.

Much like her multicultural background, her music is a melting pot of influences ranging from Sabrina Carpenter pop to Elle Fitzgerald jazz. At the age of 17, she migrated from Manila, Philippines, to Seattle, Washington, where she had the opportunity to turn her passion for music into a full-time career.

She attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she wrote, recorded, and released her debut album Sweet Until The Aftertaste. Since college, MANISHA has moved back to Seattle, playing shows at legendary Seattle venues such The Crocodile and Neumos, opening for acts like Joy Crookes and Fulton Lee.

MANISHA aims to create community through her music—one that celebrates the quirky, dramatic intersectionalities in all of us.
